Our Mission
Distractions. Demands. Devices. For many reasons, we know that children can find reading challenging.
At Beyond the Book productions, our mission is simple:
To inspire children to enjoy reading in all its forms.
Whether it’s audiobooks, e-books, or the traditional paper in hand, our aim is to enhance KS2 national curriculum teaching to engage children in the wonderful worlds reading can offer.
Literacy is the cornerstone of succeeding in life - if you can read and write, you can do anything.
Through our work we bring stories from page to stage in an inclusive and accessible performance to show children that there are lots of different ways they can find joy in reading.
Our show puts reading in the spotlight, showcasing stories as a chance to escape, imagine, connect.. and learn.
